FHSF A New Registration & Donor System

A New Registration & Donor System

In recent years, the Farmington Historical Society Foundation has experienced significant growth, including increased participation in programs, a broader donor base, and expanded fundraising efforts. To support this momentum, the Foundation is transitioning to Bloomerang, a nonprofit-focused platform designed to improve event registration, donor management, and communication.

What’s Changing?

  • Donations to the Foundation will no longer be processed through Farmington Country Club member accounts. Donors may continue to support the Foundation using a variety of convenient methods, including credit card, debit card, bank account, checks, and other giving options.
  • Registration for paid programs and events will now be managed through the Foundation’s secure Bloomerang platform. Complimentary events may be reserved directly through the system, while paid programs and events will require registration using a credit card or linked bank account, providing a streamlined registration and confirmation process.
  • FHSF information and event links can still be accessed through the Farmington Country Club website and app.

Welcome to the Farmington Historical Society Foundation

The Farmington Historical Society Foundation (FHSF) welcomes all who are interested in learning about Farmington’s remarkable past—members, neighbors, scholars, preservationists, and community friends alike. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the FHSF is dedicated to preserving, documenting, and celebrating Farmington’s historic architecture, grounds, and cultural legacy.

Our mission extends beyond preservation: we seek to deepen understanding, encourage discovery, and provide educational opportunities that illuminate Farmington’s place in Virginia’s—and the nation’s—historic landscape. Through research, restoration, and thoughtful storytelling, we work to safeguard the historic spaces that define Farmington today, while ensuring they remain vibrant and meaningful for future generations.

We believe that the history of Farmington is not only for those within its walls, but for all who value heritage, scholarship, and the rich architectural and cultural traditions of Central Virginia. We invite you to explore our growing roster of programs, events, lectures, tours, and educational initiatives planned for 2026. Whether you are a Farmington member, a local resident, a student of history, or a first-time visitor, your curiosity and participation are warmly welcomed.
