An Evening and Dinner with President Jefferson and General Lafayette
Thursday, April 18

Join Thomas Jefferson (Bill Barker) and the Marquis de Lafayette (Mark Schneider) with moderator Andrew O'Shaughnessy as they celebrate the 200th anniversary of Lafayette’s last visit to Charlottesville and Monticello. They will reminisce about their over four decades of friendship and what transpired in the history of our nation. Bill Barker is widely recognized as the nation’s foremost interpreter of Thomas Jefferson. Mark Schneider is internationally recognized for his portrayals of the Marquis de Lafayette and Napoleon Bonaparte in Colonial Williamsburg and Paris, France. Andrew O'Shaughnessy is Professor of History at the University of Virginia and former Vice President of the Thomas Jefferson Foundation at Monticello and Saunders Director of the Robert H. Smith International Center for Jefferson Studies.
