USGA Sponsorship

Why Are We Raising Funds for the Championship?

Hosting a national championship of this caliber requires significant planning, hospitality, and operational support to ensure a first-class experience for players, volunteers, guests, and the broader community.

Championship-related expenses include player and volunteer hospitality, food and beverage operations, on-course logistics, transportation, signage, staffing support, course preparation and maintenance, and a wide range of operational needs associated with hosting a premier USGA event.

After thoughtful consideration, the Farmington Board of Directors and the Club’s USGA Championship Committee determined that these championship-specific expenses should not be incorporated into the Club’s regular operating budget. Instead, funds raised in support of the championship will directly offset the costs associated with hosting the event.

These contributions represent more than financial support—they reflect the membership’s shared commitment to creating a welcoming, memorable, and nationally respected championship experience for these exceptional young women and all who will visit Farmington during this historic week.
